This year, instead of celebrating Christmas at home, we decided to go on a quick beach trip to Palm Beach Resort.  Palm Beach Resort is in Laiya in San Juan, Batangas.

On our way to Laiya, we made a short stop in Lipa City to try Imprenta Modern Filipino Cuisine. Located at the ground floor of the Hotel 1925.

The restaurant has a Spanish colonial design and serves famous Filipino dishes. They also owned Casa Marikit, which we’ve tried during our San Juan, Batangas travel.

Unfortunately, we were only able to try their breakfast menu.

Palm Beach Resort is a secluded beach separate from the famous Laiya Beach. The resort has modern amenities, covered by trees and greeneries. Each Casas has a view of the beach.

Even if the cove has a pebbly and rocky beach, it is still child friendly because waves are not strong and the resort has a designated swim area.

Checked the underwater scene on this area but regrettably, there were only few marine life and corals in this spot.

That night after dinner, we tried a 1 hour massage in the cabana.

Then, Palm Beach Resort also served mid night snacks complete with tsokolate, beer and wine to celebrate Christmas Eve.

The next morning, we scheduled our pool sessions. Palm Beach Resort has two infinity pools. One is near the reception area.

While the other one is near the entrance.

We spent the remainder of our time in the pool before leaving Palm Beach Resort.
