The Lost Cow is the newest restaurant of Amorita Resort and the first Chophouse in Panglao Island.
Inside, The Lost Cow has a classy atmosphere with white walls, wood flooring and wood accents. The dining area was spacious with semicircular couch placed the middle and several tables spread out in the area.
The Lost Cow also has a bar with a wide selection of alcoholic drinks.
As an American Chophouse, their menu includes starters, grilled, mains and desserts.
Before we even started ordering, they served a complimentary bread (or sticks.. not sure hahaha)
Then we ordered one from the Smoker Happy Herd section – Ranger’s Roundup. This is a meat platter which includes a bacon slab, chicken and Sausages. It comes with 2 sides and 3 sauces. This order is good for sharing.
For mains, we got the Hot Hooked. This is a Hot-smoked wood plank Salmon. Served with green bean salad and potatoes.
We also tried 2 of their drinks. One from their signature cocktails – Meet You at Sunset or a Pineapple infused rum. And a glass of red wine – Pico Andino Cabernet Sauvignon.
Recommendations: Overall, The Lost Cow specializes in smoked dishes and steaks. Since the restaurant is in a Luxury resort, expect that the price is also on the expensive side of the spectrum. But do note that the serving size of the dishes are good for sharing and the service of the crew was exceptional. I think The Lost Cow it is perfect for date nights.
