On our second day in Baguio, we started with a visit to 113 Wagner Café. Hidden in Baguio City, 113 Wagner Cafe offers a private home dining experience.
Upon entering the premise of 113 Wagner Café, it feels as if you’ve been transported to a different place. A stone path leads from the entrance through the lush garden to the dining area.
While 113 Wagner Café offers a private home dining, the best way to maximize the experience is to select the al fresco section for its rustic garden setting.
113 Wagner Café curated three set menu options: Western Celebration, Mom’s Homemade Feast and Farm Fresh Food. Each set menu includes four drinks, a choice of coffee or lemon grass tea, and one dessert. The set menus are available in two serving sizes, for 2 pax or 4 pax.
We were a group of eight, so we ordered 2 set menus. First was the Western Celebration which comes with Sourdough Loaf, Seafood Chowder Soup,
Caesar Salad and
Slow Roasted US Beef Short Plate with Madagascar Green Peppercorn sauce and Canjun Rice.
The dessert for this Western Celebration set was Brownie Ala Mode Cake.
Then, the second set was Mom’s Homemade Feast. This set comes with Sourdough Loaf, Pumpkin Cream Soup, Cheesy Beef Lasagna,
Herb Roasted Spiced Chicken with Buttered Vegetables and Basmati Rice.
It also includes a Sliced Cake by Everything Nice.
Since we didn’t know the actual serving sizes at 113 Wagner Café, we also ordered from their ala carte menu to ensure there’s enough food for everyone.
I also tried a different drink from their drink list. Forgot the name though :D
Overall, the food, rustic garden setting and the personalized service of 113 Wagner Café make it a great choice for an intimate occasions or family celebrations.
After the private dining experience, we went to the Mines View Market before continuing with our Baguio food trip.
Recommendation: For me, my top pick was the Slow roasted US Beef Short Plate with Madagascar Green Peppercorn Sauce and Canjun Rice.
Tips: Reserve in advance as 113 Wagner Café has limited seating capacity.
