Our last restaurant in this Baguio Food Trip was Don Henrico’s, a classic Italian restaurant that was popular in Baguio during the 90s. For a truly nostalgic experience, we visited the original branch in Session Road. Back then, this was the go-to dining spot in Baguio.

The interior of Don Henrico’s still carries the old naval theme but now, it’s less noticeable.

Don Henrico’s also updated their offerings, now they have Filipino Breakfast and pancakes. Since it was still early during our visit, we decided to give the breakfast items a try.

We ordered Longsilog,

and 2 kinds of pancakes; the basic order which comes with butter and syrup.

while the other one was with bacon.

We also ordered the mozzarella sticks.

We had to order what I’d been craving, the famous Buffalo wings of Don Henrico’s. The portion size was generous, and while it is still good, they weren’t quite the same as I remembered. They now use different cuts of chicken, and the coating, which used to be darker, now had a reddish color.

To summarize, while the experience brought back memories, the taste, especially the Buffalo wings, wasn’t exactly as I remembered. That said, the food was still enjoyable, serving size for sharing and reasonable priced. So if you want to relive some Baguio memories, visit Don Henrico’s in your next Baguio trip.

Recommendation: Don Henrico’s is famous for their pizzas and Buffalo wings.
