Nono’s | Brunch Restaurant with Delicious Cakes and Pastries in Nuvali

Before Nono’s , been a fan of Chef Baba’s Classic Confections. One of my go-to is their specialty Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion. From desserts and pastries Chef Baba expanded and created Nono’s, a breakfast and brunch restaurant that serves Filipino and western dishes.

Nono’s already have multiple branches within Metro Manila but in this blog, we’ll cover the branch in Nuvali. The restaurant has a mint colored theme with a floor to ceiling glass walls. Perfectly positioned facing the activity center of Solenad 2.

Inside, it has a modern interior with different patterns of wood and tiles. The dining area was spacious and well-lighted too.

Nono’s also has a Classic Confection section for the cakes and pastries.

The menu was inspired by Chef Baba’s childhood favorite meals. This includes all-day breakfast, pastas, burgers and more.

We went and ordered their best-seller for starters, the Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons.

Then we also tried their Pinoy-style Beef Steak. It comes with onion rings and only has a small amount of sauce.  A different take on “Bistek” but it was flavorful and I liked it.

We also ordered Shrimp El Diablo under the pasta section. Even though it has big slices of vegetables mixed in the pasta and it was not as spicy as I thought it would be, it was delicious. What I love about their version of the shrimp pasta is the very generous serving of shrimps.

Even if we skipped the best-sellers for the mains, we really enjoyed the dishes we’ve tried. We’ll be back to try more comfort food of Nono’s.

Had an opportunity to explore more dishes offered by Nono’s. On this experience, we’ve tried their Miso-glazed Salmon with Red Rice.

We also sampled the Pork Belly Balsamic Adobo.

Aside from coffee, Nono’s also offer several refreshers.

Recommendations: I think Nono’s is perfect, if you want to take it slow and eat delicious comfort food with family or friends.

Tip: Make room for desserts!
