XO46 Heritage Bistro is a local restaurant offering classic Filipino cuisines. Currently, XO46 Heritage Bistro operates five branches within Metro Manila.

For this blog, we visited tried their branch in Parqal Mall.  The restaurant feature a contemporary interior accented by traditional Filipino design. Although the branch has a spacious dining area, I found it a bit crammed.

XO46 Heritage Bistro offers a wide array of Filipino favorites like Sisig, Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata and more. We ordered some of their best-sellers while sampling other dishes in the menu to fully experience what XO46 Heritage Bistro has to offer.

We started with Sisig Kapampangan, a sizzling version of the classic Sisig. Topped with an egg and served in a small cast-iron skillet.

Sinigang is always a top choice for Filipino food, so we ordered their Sinigang na Bagnet. While the portion of the Sinigang and Bagnet were generous, it lacked the traditional sour taste of Sinigang.

For the meat options, we tried several dishes starting with Sizzling Beef Kaldereta. Their rendition of the Kaldereta became one of my favorite dish in XO46 Heritage Bistro.

Kare-Kare Classico, was served with its peanut sauce on the side.

The Crispy Pata was massive and ideal for sharing. However, I prefer their Crispy Pork Maskara, which is similar to Crispy Pata but uses the pork’s face instead. Sorry forgot to take a photo of this one.

Humba ng Tacloban which is pork belly with sweet soy sauce.

Inihaw na Manok sa Anato, while the chicken looks dry, it was flavorful. Out of all our orders, the Inihaw na Liempo was my least favorite. It wasn’t good.

For vegetables, we sampled two dishes. First was Gising-Gising, one of the best-seller at XO46 Heritage Bistro.

The other one was Relyenong Talong, which was surprisingly delicious.

Of course, a Filipino meal is not complete without rice, so ordered both Aligue rice and a plain rice.

We also sampled their Pancit Lucban, which came with a large slab of pork chop.

To complete the XO46 Heritage Bistro, we tried two desserts. Champorado Eh which is a little bit similar to “biko”, but Tablea chocolate was used in the sticky rice. If you are a fan of chocolate, this dessert is worth saving room for.

The second dessert we ordered was Mango Mabuhay, which is similar to Tiramisu but made with Broas as base, with cream and fresh mangoes.
