From Igorot Stone Kingdom, we drove south to Mirador Heritage and Eco-Spirituality Park, situated on Mirador Hill. This place has been a pilgrimage site for some time. Now, the park features Japan-inspired sections that are great photo spots.
To access the attractions, guests are required to pay entrance fees at the main gate or St. Joseph’s gate of Mirador Heritage and Eco-Spirituality Park.
There’s a small pathway that leads through their mini Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.
You need to follow the path, with a little bit of climb, to reach the Holy Founder’s Garden and other attractions of Mirador Heritage and Eco-Spirituality Park.
The Cordillera Garden Terraces offers a relaxing view of Baguio City.
The reason we visited Mirador Heritage and Eco-Spirituality Park is because of the torii gate at the edge of the hill. Currently, this is the most popular section in Mirador, so expect a queue for a photo op.
For me, the Japanese-inspired sections are a great concept, but including them on Mirador Hill, a religious site, makes the theme a bit confusing. Other than that, the new sections is another reason to revisit this old tourist site.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT BAGUIO CITY
You can visit Baguio City all year round because of its cool climate. For me, the best time to visit Baguio City is November and January. The reason for this are: to avoid the crowd of Panagbenga Festival in February, summer vacations from March to April, the rainy season from June to October and the family gatherings on December.
