Sinta Restaurant is a newly opened fine dining restaurant that offers a unique dining experience by blending food, art and nature. They started operations on 08 March 2024. Sinta Restaurant is hidden in Mystic Hills on Ligaya Drive, a quieter part of Tagaytay.
The entrance of Sinta Restaurant was grand, with a massive wooden pivot door that opens to a breathtaking view of Taal Volcano.
Sinta Restaurant has a multi-level design, as it is built along the Tagaytay ridge. The top-most level serves as the Foyer, or the receiving area. The interior of Sinta Restaurant is a combination of contemporary and traditional elements, accented by local artworks.
From the Foyer, guests are guided on a tour to the main dining area, where they can learn the stories behind each art piece.
Part of the experience, Sinta Restaurant serves a welcome drink at the Mezzanine Lounge.
Sinta Restaurant offers an unobstructed view of Taal Volcano on various spots, from the Foyer to the dining area, because of its multi-level setup. The location of Sinta Restaurant gives a much closer view of the Taal Volcano compared to the typical view point along Tagaytay – Nasugbu highway.
The main dining area of Sinta Restaurant is luxurious and spacious. With floor-to-ceiling windows on one side, allowing guests to enjoy the view. To make the most of our visit, we requested seating by the window for a scenic dining experience overlooking Taal Volcano.
Sinta Restaurant serves elevated dishes curated by Chef Ariel Manuel, with a menu that includes salads, pastas, steaks and more.
We started our Sinta Restaurant experience with the Double Espresso Soup with Parmesan Cheese Churros. This includes two kinds of soup: mushroom and tomato, served in espresso cup with two churros.
Our next order was the Classic Caesar Salad, which was prepared in traditional way.
For our main courses, we ordered two dishes. First was the Pork Tomahawk, served with mashed potato and veggies on the side.
The other one was Lamb Shank Ravioli, which came with a baby lamb leg and three pieces of ravioli. I usually avoid lamb because of the distinct taste - which is “ma-anggo”, but this dish was enjoyable and lack the strong lamb aroma and flavor.
I ordered the Berry Sour under the Mocktail selection to accompany my meal.
Even the bottled water was classy.
Compared to other restaurants along Tagaytay Ridge, I believe Sinta Restaurant has the best view of Taal Volcano. I appreciate the elevated dining experience and the excellent service Sinta Restaurant provided. For me, Sinta Restaurant is an ideal choice for leisure dining and special occasions when in Tagaytay.
Recommendations: All the dishes we tried were enjoyable.
Tip: Reserve in advance and request a table near the window. Schedule an early dinner visit so you can enjoy the view.
