During our day tour at Gardens by the Bay, we ate brunch at Jurassic Nest Food Hall. Jurassic Nest Food Hall is a dinosaur-themed food hall conveniently located near the Supertree Grove. Jurassic Nest Food Hall houses seven restaurants, and half of them are Michellin-starred.

The Jurassic Nest Food Hall has a huge dining space with air-conditioned and al fresco option.

The first restaurant we tried was Jurassic Nest Café, this is a family café branding themselves as the Happiest Family Restaurant in Singapore. Out of the restaurants in this food hall, Jurassic Nest Café is the earliest one to open.

Jurassic Nest Café serves the popular Singaporean Breakfast sets, lite bites, all day meals and various drinks to choose from. They also offer meals catered for kids.

It was still early so we ordered Kaya Butter Toast set meal. It comes with a Kaya Toasts, two soft-boiled eggs and opted for iced coffee.

I thought the coffee included in the set meal of Jurassic Nest Café would be small.

Expecting a lot of walking throughout the day, we also had a full lunch at Hawker Chan. Hawker Chan was known as the first hawker Michelin-starred restaurant and the most affordable one. Even though this is not the original stall, Hawker Chan is still a good restaurant to try when in Singapore.

For this experience, we ordered the famous Hainanese Chicken Rice,

We also sampled the Char Siew Rice.

And an order of the Singaporean Laksa.

Compared to the Hawker Chan branches in Philippines, there was a noticeable difference in serving size. However, I can’t say if there’s a difference in taste.

While there are numerous restaurants within Gardens by the Bay, Jurassic Nest Food Hall is a great place to eat, as guests have the option to choose from the seven restaurant operating in there.

After lunch, we continued our exploration of Gardens by the Bay.

Tip: Schedule your lunch or dinner earlier than usual to avoid the crowd.
