While walking around Bugis, we noticed QQ Noodle House was packed compared to other restaurants in the area. This made us decide to try QQ Noodle House for dinner.
QQ Noodle House is a Chinese restaurant serving authentic Sarawak-style Fuzhou noodles. Located along Victoria Street in Bugis, QQ Noodle House has been operating since 2013. QQ Noodle House uses a recipe for the handmade noodles that has been passed down through several generations already.
We were seated at the far end of the restaurant near the counter. There were plenty of locals dining, which indicated that QQ Noodle house serves good food.
Though the interior of the place is somewhat basic, ordering the food was way more advance. You can order online via a QR code. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a local number, so we don’t have to order manually.
QQ Noodle House menu covers a wide array of Chinese cuisines, but the highlight is their noodles. QQ Noodles House has a variety of noodle dishes, and we tried two noodles during our visit.
First one was the QQ Signature Noodle with Black Sauce, a dry noodle dish that came with generous serving of toppings.
The second dish we tried was the Heng Hwa Braised Pork Rice Vermicelli. A thin rice noodles mixed with chopped braised pork, eggs and shredded veggies.
To summarize our brief experience at QQ Noodle House, we were satisfied with the taste and portions of the noodles we tried. Plus the dishes in QQ Noodle House was decently priced. If you ever found yourself in Singapore especially in Bugis area, give QQ Noodle House a try
Recommendation: I haven’t tried it but the XO Sauce Sliced Noodle looks delicious.
