After our time at Tokyo DisneySea, we went back to Akasaka district for dinner. It was already late night when we arrived in Akasaka and most restaurants were already closed. Fortunately, The Juicy Gyoza Dandadan was still serving customers.
Dan Da Dan or The Juicy Gyoza Dandadan is a chain of izakaya restaurant with multiply branches across Japan. Known for their signature fried gyoza which is exceptionally juicy and can be enjoyed without adding sauce.
Inside, The Juicy Gyoza Dandadan has a traditional Japanese interior. Despite the large floor area, the table spacing /setup remains cramped. What’s unique about The Juicy Gyoza Dandadan’s restaurants is their tradition of displaying japanese artworks and writings by their crew on the walls.
While The Juicy Gyoza Dandadan offer a wide spread of Japanese cuisines, we were so hungry that we only focused our attention to the gyoza set meals.
The one I’ve tried was The Ultimate Gyoza Set Meal which comes with 6 pieces of decently sized fried gyoza, a poached egg, soup and rice. We also ordered the boiled gyoza on the side.
