We discovered Ippon Yari during our staycation in Casa Tropica Villas. On our way to Pansol, we’ve searched for a new restaurant around Calamba, Laguna and came across Ippon Yari.
The structure of Ippon Yari doesn’t look like a typical Japanese restaurant. But inside, it’s a different story. It has a Japanese inspired interior. The dining area is divided into 2 sections: regular tables on one side and low Japanese tables on the other. Private rooms are also available on 2nd floor.
We had a hard time picking our food because there were plenty of options to choose from. Ippon Yari’s menu was placed on a black clear folder. Looks like a song book of a karaoke :D
Upon ordering, they serve a complimentary salad.
We also tried the Kani Salad,
An order of Salmon Sashimi.
Chashumen Ramen. I like the pork slices that melts in your mouth.
Katsu Curry is one of their specialty. Served in an oval shaped plate with overflowing curry sauce.
Fresh mango shake to complete our satisfying lunch.
Recommendations: Sashimi and Sushi.
Tip: Aside from the complimentary salad and teas, their Iced Coffee is free :D
