Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan is a Filipino restaurant that is known for traditional breakfast dishes and comfort food favorites. The restaurant is named after its founder, Vivian Del Rosario, who started the business last 1984 as a small eatery in Quezon City.
The branch we’ve tried was in Marikina City. Inside, Tapsi Ni Vivian at Bulaluhan had a self-service setup. The place was cramped and had a busy scene. It really feels like a local eatery except that this one is air-conditioned.
Tapsi Ni Vivian at Bulaluhan experience won’t be complete without trying its signature dish – Tapsilog. This is a combination of Tapa, Garlic Rice and sunny side up egg.
Aside from “Silog” or breakfast dishes, Tapsi Ni Vivian at Bulaluhan also serves Filipino comfort food favorites. Since their branches is far from where we live, we maximized our visit and ordered other Filipino dishes.
Ensalada for our veggies or sides.
For fish, we ordered Kilawin and Crispy Hipon.
Then for pork, Adobo and 1 stick of bbq.
With almost 40 years in the food industry and multiple branches around the metro, the restaurant's dedication to serving delicious and affordable Filipino food has made it a go-to for lutong-bahay or home-cooked meals. Despite its success, Tapsi ni Vivian at Bulaluhan has remained true to its roots, with each location maintaining a local eatery atmosphere.

Tip: The restaurant gets easily packed especially during lunch and dinner time. Visit during off peak to avoid the crowd.
